In the countries said in development, the occurrence of numerous volcanic eruptions raises the question of the disaster associated to the "extreme" natural phenomena calling on a hold in charge of emergency of the victims. The volcanic eruption of intervening Nyiragongo May 22, 2021, at the origin of important destructions, the evacuation and the rehousing of the local populations, Rwanda saw itself preoccupied in the hold in charge of emergency of the population touched of the city of Goma in Democratic Republic of Congo.

Analyses of some food seasoning products in Nigeria

Background: The safety of artificialfood seasoning should be a major concern to health authorities and the general public. Hence the influence of these food seasoning on the taste, Aroma, acceptability and health of the consumer are certain. Some brands of artificial food seasoning sold in Nigerian markets were analyzed for Calcium (Ca), Cadmium (Cd), Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn) and Lead (Pb) using AES-MPS after sample digestion with the mixture of nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide.

Studies on salmonella prevalence co-infections with schistosomiasis among subjects in selected rural communities and general hospital in zone a senatorial district of benue state, Nigeria

The overall aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of co-infection of typhoidal salmonellosis and schistosomiasis amongst selected subject groups in zone A geopolitical zone of Benue State Nigeria. Five locations were randomly selected and they were: Iange, Sati, Korgyen, Ikov Sati and Adikpo. A total of 180 subjects were studied. Two clinical samples (urine and stool) were collected from each subject following standard medical laboratory practices and guidelines. A total of 360 clinical samples were investigated using microscopic, cultural and biochemical methods.

Impact of cultural and storage practices on the shel life of the yam of ‘kponan’ variety (dioscorea cayenensis-rotundata)

Yam Kponan is an important and strategic foodstuff for many people in Côte d’Ivoire. Its losses due to rotting on storage do not ensure a regular market supply. This study was undertaken to determine the impacts of traditional cultivation and storage practices on Kponan (Dioscorea cayenensis-rotundata) rotting among producers in the departments of Bondoukou, Bouna, and Kouassi-Kouassikro. Results showed that herbicides were frequently use in the department of Kouassi-Kouassikro (88.90%) than those of Bouna (49.60%) and Bondoukou (37.00%).

A review on environmental challenges and responsiveness

This paper review explores environmental challenges and responsiveness. Natural calamities and human activities have contaminated the ecosystem, making it unhealthy for plants and animals. Human activities are required to address environmental issues. The quality of the environment will be determined by how humans respond to environmental challenges. The literature reviewed reveal that although environmental challenges could be attributed to natural disaster, some could be due to anthropogenic activities.

Social representations of academic digital pedagogy in côte d’ivoire: what persuasion strategy?

Les représentations sociales présentées abordent la pédagogie numérique comme étant problématique. Il ne s’agit pas de stipuler que les technologies sont "problèmes" mais plutôt de reconnaitre que leur intégration dans les universités en Côte d’Ivoire soulève des questions de première importance. L’objectif de cette démarche est la tentative de sortie des présuppositions par l’apport de stratégie de persuasion et remédierà ces formes réactualisées d’inégalités sociales pour favoriser une plus grande équité de l’enseignement.

Water quality analysis of borewell water of some selected area of beed city

Water is the main source of life without it life cannot be possible.Good quality of water is described by its physio-chemical and biological characteristics. In present study borewell water samples of six areas of Beed citywere studied for analysis of various parameters using titrimetric spectrophotometric method. The findings showed that pH, temperature, turbidity, chloride, nitrate, iron and total hardness of all the bore well water samples were below the WHO limits while phosphate and magnesium gave values above the WHO limits for all samples.
