Molecular dynamics of the aquation reactions of the complexes [Cr(en)3]Cl3, [Cr(pn)3] Cl3,[Cr(tn)3] Cl3,[Cr(en)2 (C6H5NH2)Cl]Cl2,[Cr(en)2,(O-eC6H4NH2)Cl]Cl2 and [Cr(en)2(p-MeC6H4NH2)Cl]Cl2 have been extensively studied in mixed solvent media. Kinetics and thermodynamic parameters have been evaluated and the results are interpreted carefully in the light of statistical and regression models.
An esterification reaction was carried out to prepare 1-Propylbenzoate using silica sulphuric acid as an ionic liquid under solvent less condition. The catalytic activity and the amount of the target product 1-propylbenzoate were determined. The optimal reaction conditions were fixed and the product was characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR studies.
